HOW OLD SHOULD MY
DOG BE
BEFORE I CAN
START TRAINING? Training
starts the day you get your dog home. How you
interact with your dog and how you respond to him or her is setting a
pattern for your dog. It is never too late to teach a dog. We recommend
for puppies to start formal obedience training at 14 to 16 weeks of
age. This is a mature age for your dog to be able to handle the
responsibilities that go along with training. For older dogs, we
recommend starting your obedience training as soon as possible.
WHAT
IS THE COST OF TRAINING?
Each of our
training packages are done one on
one with one of our Certified Professional Trainers. We do not offer
group classes because as we mentioned before, each dog learns
differently. Your money will be better spent if you are receiving the
individualized attention you need. Before beginning one of our
obedience packages we will need to do a free evaluation of your dog and
find out your needs and expectations with your dog. During our
evaluation process one of our trainers will detail for you our training
options and the cost involved in each package.
